2019 National Corvette Caravan

All roads lead to Bowling Green, Kentucky for the 25th Anniversary of the National Corvette Museum

Often referred to as the world’s largest moving automotive event, the National Corvette Caravan is a celebration of America’s Sports Car, culminating in Bowling Green, Kentucky for the anniversary celebration of the National Corvette Museum. Hosted only once every five years, the next event is slated for Labor Day Weekend 2019 and will mark the Museum’s 25th Anniversary. Leading the charge will be Jeffrey Duda of Hainesport, NJ, a Lifetime Member of the Museum and previous co-captain of the New Jersey 2014 and 2009 Caravans. The 6th National Corvette Caravan is slated for August 28-31, 2019. Regional caravans will form and join other caravans as they travel across the United States to meet in Bowling Green, Kentucky for four days of festivities at the National Corvette Museum. An event such as this requires years of planning and coordinating. All help is appreciated! If you would like to volunteer to be a Caravan Captain, please email Jeff at nationalchairman2019@verizon.netThe Museum is located at I-65, exit 28 in South Central Kentucky and is open daily, 8am to 5pm Central Time.

EMCC Information:

Randy Flock, Captain of the 2017 Caravan New England and his First Mate, Ann Goulas were guest speakers at the meeting. They told the membership all about the 25th Anniversary of the Museum in Bowling Green and the Caravan to KY which will take place over Labor Day 2019. Plans are in progress and there are many who have already signed up. Registration is $325 which includes shirts, banners, information, passes, etc. You can cancel up to 2 months before the event. The NE portion will meet at Gettysburg, PA and will start the Caravan from that location. Groups from all over including Canada will merge at some point along the way and caravan together. I could write forever with information about the Caravan, but it would be best to go onto the website and read it and……. Possibly sign up. EMCC has a comfortable group of members who will be attending. A lot of information was passed out at the meeting.

Check it out.
